Que Sara Sara

So, I got my W2 for my US 2021 taxes near the end of January 2022. I filled out the forms online, but because I couldn’t find/remember my super duper secret and special IRS code, I had to mail in all my state and federal taxes. I did this the first week of February. I received my state tax refund in late March/early April I think.

It is now nearly mid-June and I can’t even check on my fed taxes. So I called Taxpayer Advocates today and they told me it was because they hadn’t been processed yet? WHAT?! Say again?! In fact, they won’t be processed for at least another 4 months (16 weeks). Ridiculous! I’ll be lucky if I get my tax refund by November! He’ll, I’ll probably be lucky if I get it in 2022!! Jesusfuckingchristimsopissed!!!!

So this means, no trip to Salem in July. No new tattoo. No refurbished iPad to do digital drawing. Nothing. I get none of that.

I’m really quite depressed about it. A similar thing happened last year with my amended return. I didn’t get that refund until November either. It’s so disheartening.

So, this all, along with politics and the fact that gun rights seem to take precedent over children’s lives (and teachers, etc), makes me not just want to visit Norway, but move there permanently. I’m honestly sick of it all. I have very little like left for my country. I will miss family and friends, but not my country. Sadly I make nothing so, this will take forever.
